Who Thrives Here We are looking for highly motivated candidates who: Are true self-starters who generate momentum and take initiative without being asked Love a challenge and stay calm, focused, and effective when volume is high or emotions run hot Are deeply passionate about caring for patients and removing barriers to care Want a long-term career path, not just another job Excel in collaborative, high-accountability team environments Are comfortable and proficient with modern technology tools What You'll Do Serve as a primary advocate for patients navigating clinical pharmacy services, specialty medications, prior authorizations, benefits, appointments, and care coordination Support pharmacy technician and mail-order pharmacy operations, including medication coordination, documentation, and ensuring timely delivery Conduct outreach to patients for mail-order pharmacy enrollment and medication support Handle multi-channel communications (phone, email, text, fax, e-scribe, patient portal, and secure messaging) with speed and professionalism De-escalate tense or frustrated patient interactions and turn them into positive experiences Document all interactions accurately and keep records current across systems Collaborate daily with clinical, pharmacy, benefits, and operations teams to remove obstacles for patients Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and attention to detail in a high-volume setting Technology You'll Master and Use Daily Proficiency (or rapid ability to master) across: Microsoft 365 suite/Teams RingCentral Internal portals and systems SharePoint Slack WhatsApp (for international team communications) Pharmacy software, vendor portals, email, text, and fax platforms Schedule & Location Full-time, Monday-Friday Pharmacy hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST (specific shifts determined separately) In-office position
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience Bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) 401(k) employer match Flexible schedule options within the role structure Ideal Background Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred but not required 3-5 years pharmacy technician experience preferred. Hospital or infusion experience ideal but not required Experience in patient-facing healthcare, clinical or retail pharmacy, mail-order pharmacy, benefits coordination, prior authorizations, patient navigation, or high-volume healthcare customer service Strong understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) prior authorization processes, insurance/benefits basics, and HIPAA requirements Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills with the ability to explain complex information simply and compassionately Proven ability to multitask, stay highly organized, and manage multiple patient cases with precision High emotional intelligence and a genuine patient-centered mindset Thrives in professional office environment Why This Opportunity At National Integrative Health you will have real ownership, measurable impact on patients' access to medications and care, and the chance to grow with a team that sets a high bar.
