Job Description
Bilingual Pediatrics Intake Coordinator Responsibilities include orienting new nurses and collecting onboarding paperwork. The pediatrics intake coordinator will ensure compliance with state regulation by ensuring nursing documents are up to date. Responsibilities Guides nurses through our application process and benefits package Gathers required certifications, signed paperwork, and other documents per company policy. Conducts background checks and verification of licenses and references. Adds Nurses on to Axxess platform to enable and explain timekeeping procedure. Receives incoming telephone calls and takes messages as needed. Answers clients' questions regarding basic medical tests and procedures. Corresponds with doctors to confirm notes and needed follow up Inputs authorizations from the state, manages the renewal process Open new client folders, confirming patient information and plan of care. Verifies insurance details and informs clients of un-covered fees. Distributing supplies to Clients home. Files documents and organizing supplies. Responsible for payroll and confirming visits for billing purposes. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Bilingual Spanish speaking Experience in a medical office preferred Working knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance plans. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Driver's License required The ability to type and file accurately. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Excellent telephone etiquette. Excellent attention to detail
