Job Description Summary:

The Speech Pathologist II (Inpatient) is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients referred to the facility. This includes patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning. The therapist functions as an effective team member and contributes to the development and achievement of department and organizational goals and objectives.

Rehab Areas of Focus:

Orthopedics Transplants Primary Stroke Center Neuroscience ICU/Critical Care Geriatric Psychology Med/Surg Emergency Care Lung and Cardiovascular Care (VADs, TAVRs, Open Heart Surgery and Heart Transplants)

Additional Job Description:

Required Qualifications Licensed or eligible in Kentucky Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) Bachelor's degree from accredited college or University Preferred Qualifications Master's or Doctorate of Speech-Language Pathology degree
