Summary Job Description:
Outpatient Imaging Coordinator The Outpatient Imaging Coordinator provides leadership and operational oversight for multiple outpatient imaging locations, including Middletown Diagnostic Center, Eastpoint Diagnostic Center, PET Center, Dutchmans MRI, and the MRI Department at Baptist Health Louisville. This role is responsible for coordinating daily workflow, optimizing patient scheduling, and ensuring efficient department operations while maintaining high standards of patient care, quality, and safety. The Coordinator supervises technologists, registration, and ancillary staff through coaching, hiring, training, performance evaluations, competency assessments, and staff scheduling. Additional responsibilities include managing timecards, resolving patient and staff concerns, ensuring equipment functionality, maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing quality initiatives such as ACR and MQSA requirements, monitoring supplies and linens, supporting radiologists during procedures, and participating in service promotion and department improvement efforts. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills who is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience and fostering a positive team environment.
Requirements:
Graduate from an approved imaging program with licensure in at least one area of Radiology. Management experience preferred. Must have current CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
