Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES
General patient support, manage scheduling of patients; accepts patient payments and generates daily deposit reports; performs data entry.SUPERVISION EXERCISED
: NoneESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Answer and route incoming calls as appropriate; take messages when necessary. Greet incoming patients scheduled for appointments and walk-ins and verify on each visit that the patient registration information is current; update any changes and input information into EHS. Notify the nurse of any emergency walk-in patients to facilitate patients being triaged timely. Schedules center appointments in EHS patient management system (walk-ins, scheduled appointments, call-ins, etc.) according to protocol. Scan patient IDs into patient management system. Cross trains with other front desk support staff to ensure the department's routines are not backlogged or interrupted. Maintain daily patient sign-in log. Communicate appointment changes, delays or cancellations promptly to patients and Providers. Schedule appointments using patient lists provided by the Practice Manager. Complete financial duties in accordance with finance department protocols. Rotate to Call Center as needed. Initiate faculty and patient daily roster. Freezing of slots in the patent management system. Ability to create a template in the patient management system. Enter data into the patient management system from screening forms. Initiate emergency list roster of faculty and patient daily roster. Other job duties as assigned by the Practice Manager.QUALIFICATIONS

: AA or BS degree with 2 or more years of medical office experience or Bilingual with 5 years of medical office experience, pleasant telephone etiquette; ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients; must be computer literate.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend written documents fluently.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical solutions.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
