Kolmac Medical Support Job Description Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and Concerted Care Group (CCG) is a leading outpatient treatment provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving individuals, families, couples, and groups across Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. The organization focuses on compassionate, evidence-based care for substance use and mental health disorders, with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion Role Overview The Certified Medical Assistant / Patient Services Coordinator is a dual-role position that bridges the front desk and clinical support teams. This role is critical to the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and related levels of care including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy, working closely with healthcare providers, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities Patient Services & Front Desk:
Manage scheduled appointments by checking in patients and alerting clinical staff to their presence. Direct walk-in patients to the appropriate staff member. Handle all incoming telephone calls professionally, routing messages and deliveries promptly. Collect patient information at check-in and maintain HIPAA compliance. Manage co-pay and self-pay collections, documenting amounts received and notifying patients of outstanding balances. Maintain cleanliness and order of the front desk and waiting area, ensuring patient safety and well-being
Clinical & Medical Support:
Assist with medical intake, medication support, and clinical monitoring under the direction of the clinical team. Support multiple facilities, requiring flexibility and reliable transportation Assist with TMS Therapy administration and Monitoring (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an FDA‑approved, noninvasive treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate brain regions involved in mood regulation, primarily for major depression, OCD, migraines, and smoking cessation.)

On-site at
Columbia, Maryland Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Pay:
$25.00/hour Skills & Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credentials. TMS experience a plus Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Proficiency with medical intake systems and HIPAA-compliant record-keeping.
