As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), you will be a key member of the practice team, partnering with physicians, managers, and support staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience and ensure efficient day-to-day operations. As a Patient Service Representative (PSR), a typical day might include the following: Welcoming patients and performing patient check-in and check-out functions with professionalism and compassion. Preparing for patient visits by reviewing schedules and ensuring all necessary information is available. Scheduling patient appointments and coordinating follow-up visits as needed. Answering routine questions in person and over the telephone while providing exceptional customer service. Performing clerical responsibilities including copying, scanning, faxing, sorting, and distributing mail. Creating, maintaining, filing, and organizing patient health record information. Coordinating with insurance providers and handling pre-authorizations and certifications as necessary. Protecting patient privacy and contributing to a safe, efficient, and welcoming practice environment. Day shift, Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, Full-Time 40 hours per week To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and relevant experience and/or training. Candidates must demonstrate a clear understanding of the importance of patient satisfaction and safety and possess strong oral and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, previous medical receptionist or general office experience, and knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred.
