Patient Access Representative - Authorizations OSU Medical Center - 3.5 Tulsa, OK Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for performing registration of inpatient admissions, including verifying insurance data, ensuring eligibility and benefits, and facilitating accurate billing. This role involves coordinating with insurance companies to notify of admission, secure prior authorizations, generate estimates and submitting medical records for clinical reviews. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a patient-facing setting while also possessing a deep understanding of the insurance verification and authorization processes. Must be comfortable standing and navigating throughout the hospital to perform bedside registration.
