Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Patient Access Team Lead is responsible for guiding the team, facilitating efficient operations, and offering continuous support to maintain optimal performance and uphold the standards of care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates effectively with management on internal concerns Assess current employees' performance and determine development opportunities for merit increases Provide continuous training and support to assigned PAC's Offers guidance on performance issues and disciplinary measures Collaborate with PAS to manage employee's scheduling/coverage Conducts performance evaluations, including annual reviews, 30/90-day check ins, and provides documentation to HR Provides EOS support at site level Ensures quality and accuracy of weekly deposit workflows Provides onsite support during staff shortages or high-volume periods Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows Review and approve timesheets while maintaining accurate attendance records Traveling required between all clinics within assigned region Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations; maintain confidentiality of all physician, staff, and patient information Performs all other job-related duties as assigned
Skills/Competencies:
Knowledge of basic medical terminology Strong, professional interpersonal skills Excellent verbal and written communication Team-orientation Ability to multi-task Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Basic typing skills required Basic Mathematical skills to include adding and subtracting Computer experience: working in multiple platforms Having working knowledge of insurance terminology preferred Bilingual preferred
Qualifications:
Education Requirements High School Diploma College degree preferred
Experience Requirements:
Two years' previous PAC experience Complete a career development plan set forth by the PAC manager
Physical Abilities:
Sedentary position with occasional movement throughout the workplace
