Position Overview Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists for full-time positions within our expanding outpatient psychiatric office based in Great Falls, Virginia. This role is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver impactful mental health services from the comfort of your chosen environment while still maintaining collaborative relationships with team members. Work Environment This remote role integrates flexibility with teamwork. You'll engage in virtual consultations and group meetings to ensure cohesive care delivery. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate varying patient needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs, utilizing tools and methodologies tailored to individual cases. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the latest research and evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy. Facilitate supportive psychoeducational groups, cultivating a sense of community among participants facing similar mental health challenges. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver holistic care tailored to patient needs. Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring prompt and effective responses. Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid their recovery. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently. Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities. Stay abreast of developments and best practices within the mental health field to enhance therapy efficacy. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse population that includes individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our client demographic spans different ages, backgrounds, and life experiences, providing a rich tapestry for therapeutic engagement. You'll have the opportunity to create a positive impact by tailoring your approaches based on age, culture, and specific mental health issues presented by clients. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution. A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia. In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities. Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and design effective treatment plans based on patient evaluation. Experience in providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, including individual and group therapy settings. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring clarity and empathy in interactions with clients. Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries in all aspects of practice. Experience with electronic health record systems and other related technology. An enthusiasm for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting. Preferred Experience Prior experience in an outpatient setting focused on mental health treatment. Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and techniques. Engagement in advanced therapeutic training or specialty areas of mental health. Compensation and Benefits Our compensation package reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the field. The starting salary ranges from
USD 80,000
to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
