Plover Family Dental Care is looking for a warm, dependable, and highly organized Patient Care Coordinator to join the PFDC family. Our practice is fast-paced, modern, and focused on providing every patient with exceptional care from the moment they contact our office. In this important role, you will help keep our schedule and front office running smoothly while ensuring each patient feels genuinely welcomed, heard, and cared for. If you enjoy creating positive first impressions, supporting your teammates, and making a difference in people's lives, we would love to meet you! Your Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and a helpful attitude.
  • Answer and route telephone calls promptly and accurately.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments while helping maintain a full, productive schedule.
  • Keep patient information and records current and accurate using Dentrix.
  • Manage office email communications promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized front office.
  • Protect patient privacy and consistently follow HIPAA requirements.
  • Work closely with the entire PFDC team to keep each day running smoothly.
  • Look ahead, anticipate needs, and help find solutions before challenges disrupt patient care. What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of customer service or related administrative experience.
  • Ability to remain friendly, organized, and accurate in a busy environment.
  • Moderate knowledge of dental terminology and procedures—or a strong willingness and ability to learn.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • A strong commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset.
  • Someone who is dependable, efficient, forward-thinking, and willing to step in wherever help is needed.
