Job Summary:
Reviews and verifies patient account information and charges to ensure accuracy and completeness. Submits the bill to the appropriate payer within one (1) day of receipt of billing documents. Monitors' ad follows outstanding accounts for timely payments specific to payer type, i.e., Medicare- 30 days; Medicaid
- 60 days; Workers' Compensation
- 60 days; private insurance carriers
- 45 days; and private pay accounts
- 30 days.
