Job Description

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Advance your respiratory therapy career with a dynamic contract opportunity in a hospital setting, engaging with a diverse patient population across all units. This position welcomes both Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) and experienced Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT), providing valuable exposure to advanced technologies and a collaborative care environment.
Schedule/Hours:
36 or 48-hour contract options available 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm start) Weekend rotation every other weekend Voluntary on-call opportunities
Qualifications:
RRT credential preferred; CRTs accepted with a minimum of 2 years' experience Current BLS certification required;
ACLS/APLS
preferred At least 2 years of relevant experience for first-time travelers Previous experience with Cerner or EPIC electronic medical records systems Demonstrated general and critical care skills in adult respiratory therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services for adult patients throughout the hospital Manage, monitor, and adjust ventilators and respiratory support equipment, including
PB 840, PB
980, Drager VN500, LTV, and Airvo systems Utilize advanced medication dispensing and monitoring systems (Omnicell, Spacelabs) Carry out clinical documentation using Cerner EMR Float to similar units as needed to support patient care demands Complete an orientation program (24 hours classroom, 24 hours unit-based) tailored for travelers or individuals returning after more than one year
