Job Description

Category Respiratory - Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality respiratory care alongside a dedicated healthcare team serving a diverse patient population. This role is ideal for an experienced Respiratory Therapist seeking a contract opportunity, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Required Schedule:
Three 12-hour night shifts per week Specific days to be determined during the interview process
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Active State of Florida Respiratory Care license Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Completion of an accredited respiratory programs, with college diploma or transcripts required for submission Applicants must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills Quick adaptability to a variety of clinical settings
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, treatments, and interventions for patients across all age groups Operate, monitor, and maintain various types of respiratory equipment and ventilators Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and execute patient care plans Administer oxygen therapies, nebulization, airway management, and other respiratory modalities as prescribed Respond effectively to emergencies, including code situations and rapid response calls Accurately document all care provided, following regulatory and facility protocols
