Respiratory Therapist Position Overview:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality resident care and treatments as prescribed by a physician. You will operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, administers patient care, and document the activity in the patient's medical record in accordance with facility policies and procedures, HIPAA guidelines, and Quality assurance guidelines.

Schedule:

7pm to 7:30am

Key Responsibilities:

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care

Preferred Qualifications:

Current Respiratory Therapist license/certification in the State of Illinois Knowledge of respiratory care practices, physiology, and pulmonary treatments Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care Strong communication and teamwork skills Minimum of 1 year of long-term care experience preferred #IND123
