Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Associates' degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy Recent clinical experience in a respiratory care setting Proficiency with a range of respiratory equipment and therapies BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, monitor, and provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients Execute physician-ordered respiratory therapy procedures, including ventilator management, airway care, and patient education Accurately document care plans, assessments, and patient progress Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes Uphold infection control and safety standards throughout all procedures
