Provide respiratory care to hospital patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation. This role supports the organization's mission to deliver high-quality patient care during staffing shortages.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive respiratory care to hospital patients across all areas. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans. Maintain accurate charting and documentation using Meditech EMR. Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatments as needed. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification standards. Work night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am. Float across all hospital areas as needed. Perform physical patient care duties.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field from accredited program. Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Prior experience working in a hospital setting. Ability to work night shifts from 7pm to 7:30am. Physical ability to perform patient care duties. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to float across all hospital areas.
