Respiratory Therapist (RT) Night Shift seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our experienced team! We have a full time night shift opening! Ideal candidate must have knowledge of medications, treatments and their correct administration, based on age of patients and their clinical condition. Will also handle ventilator care, tracheotomy care, and all respiratory modalities to residents. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide care to residents in accordance with Physicians Orders, Policy, and Procedures. Conduct diagnostic tests and use treatments such as oxygen mixtures and aerosol medications. Assess plans and evaluate respiratory care delivered to residents. Assist nursing staff as needed off unit with assessments, clinical resource, education and emergent care. Document resident care accurately and completely in medical record. Maintain a positive, professional and helpful attitude towards residents, their family, visitors to the facility and co-workers. Make sound respiratory care judgments in compliance with respiratory protocols, policy and procedures. Attend patient transports as needed within the facility and outside of the facility if necessary.
