Sign-On Bonus:
$15,000 for night shift with a 2-year work commitment

Up to $5,000 for qualified candidates Position Overview We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care services at Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, OK. The role involves assessing patient respiratory needs, delivering therapeutic interventions, managing mechanical ventilation, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to support high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess and provide respiratory care to patients across non-critical and critical care settings. Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizer/MDI medications, aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, incentive spirometry, PEP therapy, and chest physiotherapy. Manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, including ventilator settings, monitoring, and maintenance. Perform and assist with intubation, extubation, suctioning, bronchoscopy, CPR, and emergency respiratory interventions. Respond promptly to Code Blue, RIT/CRIT calls, and patient transport needs. Verify physician orders and accurately document respiratory assessments, interventions, and patient responses. Monitor respiratory and ventilator parameters and communicate changes effectively to the healthcare team. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, mentoring, and departmental projects. Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program . Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license or temporary/provisional authorization to practice. Current CRT or RRT credential through the
NBRC . BLS
certification required within 2 months of hire. Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred/required for the specified position. Adult ICU or PICU experience is acceptable. Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in critical and non-critical care environments. Additional Information RRT credential qualifies for an additional $1/hour. Clinical ladder pay opportunities available for ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications at applicable levels. Day shift may also be available. Full-time schedule is approximately 40 hours/week . CA02
