Qualifications:
Valid and current Respiratory Therapist license Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Proven competency in critical care, emergency respiratory interventions, and ventilator management Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentResponsibilities:
Assess, plan, and administer both routine and complex respiratory care procedures Operate and maintain advanced respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators and monitors Educate patients and families on therapies and promote best practices for respiratory health Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in emergency response for respiratory distress, including rapid assessment and intervention Accurately document all therapy and patient progress in electronic medical records Ensure adherence to safety standards and infection control protocols This role offers a dynamic work environment with access to updated equipment and supportive colleagues. A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions.
