A Respiratory Therapist assists patients who have trouble breathing because of a chronic respiratory illness, trauma, or other conditions. Administers tests to diagnose breathing problems, performs treatments to help patients breathe easier, or sets up breathing equipment such as ventilators. Works closely with physicians and other healthcare workers, and may also assist in providing emergency care to patients suffering from heart attacks, drowning, or shock. Works in hospitals; may also provide care and counseling to patients in their homes.

Full-Time | 12 hour Shifts (Days) 7am-7pmCompensation:
$35.00 - $58.00 per hourSign-On Bonus:
$7,500 forFull-Time Status Shift Differentials:

Use, maintain, and care for respiratory therapy equipment and supplies properly. Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records and charting. Uphold high safety standards and work responsibly at all times. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and hospital staff; demonstrate strong teamwork. Exercise good judgment, tact, dependability, and accuracy in all duties. Educate patients about their respiratory condition and treatment as appropriate.
