Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist (hospital or clinical environment preferred) Active BLS certification (ACLS recommended) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptability in fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality respiratory care across various acuity levels Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot therapeutic equipment Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and emergency interventions Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to create patient-centered care plans Educate patients and families about respiratory health and treatments Actively participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
