Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Hold an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Possess or be eligible for an Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (may apply with pending status) Demonstrated experience working in a school setting providing direct therapy and evaluations to K-12 students Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong ability to collaborate with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services and conduct comprehensive evaluations for a diverse student caseload (not to exceed 60 students) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Participate in IEP meetings and document progress in alignment with school and district guidelines Foster productive relationships with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and professional standards This is an onsite position with a 37.5-hour workweek, providing the stability and community engagement that impactful school-based work offers.
