9623628-36022 Job Description Unlock a meaningful career opportunity supporting students communication growth in a dynamic elementary school environment. We are searching for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide both therapy and evaluations to a manageable caseload of no more than 60 students. This is a full-time contract role, with the assignment running through late May 2027. Youll work onsite alongside a collaborative team focused on creating supportive learning experiences.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid Alabama Educator SLP Certification (can begin with pending status) Alabama ASHA Certification required Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued Exceptional interpersonal skills and an aptitude for working with students, families, and educators Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize therapy and evaluation responsibilities efficiently
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group-based therapy sessions to elementary-aged students Conduct speech and language evaluations and communicate findings to families and school teams Develop, document, and execute treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote generalization of communication skills in academic settings Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting for student progress and compliance requirements Contribute to IEP meetings and support ongoing goal setting for students This is an impactful opportunity with a consistent weekly schedule and an emphasis on professional excellence.
