Desired Skills & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current, valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Alabama Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school-based or early childhood settings Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Provide direct therapy services, both in individual and small group settings Consult with educators and families regarding strategies to support students communication goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
