This role utilizes your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working collaboratively within a school environment to help children achieve their educational goals. Ideal candidates will hold a current SLP license and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, demonstrating a passion for making a difference in childrens lives. Your clinical knowledge will be highly valued as you help students overcome challenges, promote engagement, and foster personal growth.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license in good standing Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to student-centered, inclusive practices
Responsibilities:
Screen, evaluate, and diagnose students with speech, language, or communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct therapy and intervention in group or one-on-one sessions Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust plans accordingly Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs Contribute to IEP meetings and participate in professional development Maintain accurate records in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations This contract position offers the chance to hone your skills as part of a dynamic and supportive educational team.
