K-12 Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school-based setting. In this in-person part-time role, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver speech and language therapy services, assist with screenings, and document student progress according to established plans of care. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings. Assist the supervising SLP with student screenings and data collection (without clinical interpretation). Document student performance, attendance, and progress in an accurate and timely manner. Prepare therapeutic and educational materials tailored to student needs and goals. Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the supervising SLP to support student communication outcomes. Participate in team discussions or IEP meetings as appropriate and directed by the supervising SLP. Maintain student safety, confidentiality, and compliance with all state, district, and professional SLPA standards. Minimum Qualifications Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or registration in Arizona (required). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or an accredited SLPA program. Strong knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques and classroom-based interventions. Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP and as part of an interdisciplinary school team. Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Must comply with all state regulations governing SLPA scope of practice and supervision ratios. Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements. Must be at least 18 years of age.
