9669487-85641 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist from January through June 2027. This maternity leave coverage is perfect for professionals who value in-person engagement and thrive in a collaborative school environment. Youll serve a single school site (to be determined), where your expertise will make a tangible difference across elementary, K-8, and high school levels. The manageable caseload of 50 to 60 students allows you to focus on meaningful, individualized support while building relationships that help learners succeed.
Key Qualifications:
Current credentials as an SLP with CCC or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Background working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Ability to be on-site daily for direct student services Adaptable and open to feedback within a team-driven environment Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations, determine eligibility, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct speech-language therapy for a diverse range of students Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation Collaborate with educators and parents to support students communication needs in the classroom Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions, sharing professional input and insights This role is designed for a flexible professional who enjoys dynamic days and values building lasting connections.
