9664262-92336 Job Description Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working with elementary-aged students in a vibrant educational environment. This leave replacement position begins January 4th and is projected to continue through the end of March, with the potential for an extension. Youll have the chance to inspire growth and support communication development for a well-defined caseload of 55 students, including a blend of speech-only and resource students, all at a single school site. Ideal candidates will demonstrate compassion, professional expertise, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on young learners. Hours are a consistent 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and
ASHA CCC-SLP
certification required Recent experience in a school-based setting, specifically serving elementary-aged children Strong skills in evaluating and providing services for students with diverse speech and language needs Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams Familiarity with developing, implementing, and documenting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
