Golden Empire Nursing and Rehab is a skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Grass Valley, CA. We provide nursing and therapy services to the geriatric population.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Provide speech therapy services to patients mostly geriatric
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
• Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies

Experience:

• Minimum of2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist
• Experience working in a hospital or medical setting, preferably in critical care or acute care
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy

Skills:

• Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
• Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt treatment approaches based on individual needs
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Knowledge of various speech therapy techniques and interventions
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
