Job Description

Job description: The speech therapist is responsible for the following: 1. Conducting initial and ongoing assessments of the participant as part of the multidisciplinary team. 2. Documenting treatment methods and the participant's reactions after each session. Narrative notes should be added to the participant's health record as needed and must be signed by the speech therapist. 3. Writing progress notes in the participant's health record at least quarterly, also signed by the speech therapist. 4. Working the necessary hours to meet each participant's needs as outlined in the individualized plan of care developed by the multidisciplinary team, in accordance with Department staffing requirements. Work hours are flexible but must occur between the 1st and 15th of the month during operational hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Compensation is negotiable
Pay:
$70.00 per hour
License/Certification:
Speech-Language Pathology License (Required)
