The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to clients of diverse ages and needs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess clients' communication abilities and identify areas of difficulty. Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment results, client needs, and evidence-based practices. Provide speech therapy and language therapy interventions tailored to each client's goals, which may include articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language skills. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools to facilitate progress in speech and language development. Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support clients' communication goals across different environments. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies. Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development. Requirements A degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited program. Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience or training in speech therapy, language therapy, or related areas is preferred. Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles and best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients of all ages. Ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations accurately. Compassionate approach with patience and understanding for clients facing communication challenges. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
