A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. has provided therapy services since 1978. We currently seek an exceptional State Board Licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our exceptional team in Oakdale in a multi-setting environment providing services in Acute/Rehab/SNF. Experience performing modified barium swallows is preferred. This position is open to PRN candidates for 5-20 hours/week - VERY flexible schedule! Do you want to job share with another SLP? We can do that, too! The Rehabilitation team is fully supported by the approachable and present Rehab Director. Join our fabulous Rehab team in Oakdale and make a positive difference every day!
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide assessment and treatment services for adults with variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Provide thorough and timely documentation necessary to support third-party reimbursement of claims. Participate in program development as appropriate. Participate in professional continuing education.
Requirements:
