A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

26-27 School Year Full time, district may be able to arrange part time Complete IEPs, assessments, treatment, and documentation for students with speech, voice, hearing and language impairments Collaborate on an interdisciplinary team Work Hours are typically 8:00 AM-3:30 PM, 37.5 hours per weekRequirements:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Previous school or pediatric experience preferred but not required Must have active or pending California SLP license or the ability to apply for one Active California educator credential through the California Teaching Commission preferred (applicant will need to apply for credential if not already in process) Soliant offers licensing assistance if you are not certified in this state yet: https://www.soliant.com/about/benefits/ ASHA certification is a PLUS, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to applyCompensation:
