Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in a vibrant educational community near San Anselmo, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student communication skills and eager to make a positive difference throughout both case management and direct service delivery.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) California SLP licensure (or eligibility) Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Adaptable to both travel and local contract arrangements
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload Conduct assessments, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress Offer engaging, evidence-based interventions—both in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs Manage case documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant special education regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the school's inclusive educational environment
