Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA California state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement evidence-based therapy for students with a variety of speech and language disorders Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and social success Track and document progress, maintaining accurate and timely records Provide consultation, resources, and training to staff and families regarding speech and language development Adapt materials and strategies to fit virtual or in-person learning as needed By taking on this rewarding contract role, you'll contribute directly to student growth while engaging with a dedicated and supportive community.
