Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will empower students with your clinical expertise and passion for communication development. This onsite position is based near Vacaville, CA. As a valued professional, youll be instrumental in supporting students communication goals, collaborating with educators, and helping shape a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Active California SLP license (State/Discipline requirement) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Demonstrated clinical skills with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Familiarity with IEP development and documentation practices Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Commitment to upholding all district, state, and licensure standards
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans addressing expressive/receptive language, articulation, fluency, and pragmatic skills Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student learning and engagement Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Participate in team meetings, multidisciplinary evaluations, and IEP conferences Adapt and employ therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs
