School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - New Britain, Connecticut ProCare Therapy - 3.9 New Britain, CT Job Details Full-time | Contract $45.92 - $65.92 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills in a supportive educational environment as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. Two rewarding full-time contract opportunities are available for immediate maternity leave coverage, each providing a chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals and serve the diverse needs of K-12 learners. Position 1 is set to begin at the end of September and will continue through mid-December. Position 2 is anticipated to start in mid-November and run until early January. Both roles offer 35 hours per week and require flexibility in working with all grade levels.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Connecticut SLP license required CCCs from ASHA are mandatory Previous school-based SLP experience Willingness and skill to work with children across K-12 District fingerprinting and background check compliance Candidates must provide their own licenses upfront for efficient onboarding SLPAs are not eligible for these roles
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-12 students onsite Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families Maintain accurate and timely reports and documentation Use evidence-based interventions for a variety of communication challenges Participate in professional meetings as scheduled and contribute to a positive collaborative school environment
