Two contract opportunities are available for talented professionals seeking full-time positions supporting students in dynamic educational environments. Both roles are tied to maternity leaves—one begins at the end of September through mid-December; the other starts mid-November and runs until early January.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse K-12 caseload, ensuring interventions support educational goals Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to facilitate student communication and success Develop individualized treatment plans and document progress in accordance with school and district standards Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify student needs Participate in IEP meetings and communicate recommendations to multidisciplinary teams Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal documentation requirements

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Active Connecticut SLP license (upfront licenses are a plus) Previous school-based SLP experience is essential Comfortable working on-site, 35 hours per week Must be open to serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade District fingerprinting and background check required SLPAs not accepted for these roles Availability for a Zoom interview Enjoy the stability of a daytime schedule and the chance to partner closely with a supportive educational community near New Britain, CT.
