Orange, CT | $53-$65/hour | W-2 or 1099 | Flexible Schedule | Growth Opportunity Attain Physical Therapy is expanding in Connecticut, and we are looking for an exceptional Speech-Language Pathologist to join our established rehabilitation team at Maplewood at Orange. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who wants the flexibility of a per diem position without sacrificing stability, clinical support, or the opportunity for professional growth. Our PT and OT team is already established within the community, and we are now expanding the program to provide on-site Speech Therapy services. Compensation $53-$65/hour, based on employment structure and direct patient-care time W-2: $53/hour 1099

We're not looking for someone to temporarily cover a caseload—we're building a Speech Therapy program that we expect to grow. The Role You'll evaluate and treat older adults within a senior-living setting with needs that may include: Dysphagia and swallowing disorders Cognitive-communication impairment Speech and language disorders Voice disorders Neurological conditions Functional communication and cognitive decline Patient, family and caregiver education You'll collaborate directly with our on-site PT/OT team as well as nursing, physicians/providers, community leadership, residents and families. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or eligible Connecticut SLP license CCC-SLP preferred Geriatric experience preferred Experience with dysphagia, cognitive-communication and neurological diagnoses strongly valued Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills Collaborative, patient-centered approach to care Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent therapy and wants to be part of building something.
