Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Calling all dynamic Speech-Language Pathology professionals! Exciting contract opportunities are available supporting elementary students in engaging school settings near Newark, DE. With diverse needs across campuses, your expertise can make a significant impact throughout the regular school year—and possibly into Extended School Year (ESY) programs. This role welcomes professionals holding their CCC, Clinical Fellowship (CF) status, as well as skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) with a background in school or healthcare settings. Whether you specialize in working with pediatric populations, enjoy collaboration with teachers and families, or want to develop hands-on experience in vibrant learning communities, you'll find your place here.
Ideal candidates will have:
Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA Experience or strong interest in pediatric and elementary-aged student populations Ability to deliver individualized speech and language therapy aligned with student IEPs Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility to adapt to evolving caseloads or assist with ESY as needed Responsibilities include: Providing direct therapy and intervention for students with speech and language needs Conducting assessments and supporting the development of IEP goals Documenting services, progress, and maintaining compliance with regulations Consulting with team members to promote student success Engaging in professional development as part of a passionate speech department Discover an enriching work environment where every day offers opportunities to grow your career and positively shape young learners' futures.
