Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role serving K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or Clinical Fellow) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Whether you're seeking full-time hours (35 per week) or the flexibility of a part-time schedule, this contract opportunity promises a collaborative, supportive environment where your expertise will help shape student success. You'll begin in mid-August and work alongside dedicated professionals through early June, providing services for a diverse student population—including early childhood interventions and support for both mild and moderate-severe needs. Your work will directly influence abilities in communication, learning, and social interaction across all grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
Delaware state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain it Open to both seasoned SLPs (CCC) and new graduate Clinical Fellows (CFY) Comfortable with early intervention and K-12 student groups Strong assessment and reporting skills, including administering diagnostic and evaluation testing Ability to craft and maintain thoughtful, measurable IEP objectives Excellent communication with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility, problem-solving, and a commitment to teamwork Previous experience with moderate to severe student populations is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver speech-language therapy addressing articulation, voice, feeding, augmentative/assistive technology, and receptive/expressive language delays Evaluate and report on students' needs and progress Collaborate with parents, educators, and specialists to support IEP goals and student development
