Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in school-based therapy with a focus on Extended School Year (ESY) services. The role is located in Odessa, DE, and requires a current Delaware SLP license. This opportunity is suited for professionals experienced in delivering telespeech therapy, pediatric care, and comprehensive speech-language services within educational and healthcare settings.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Delaware SLP license. Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred. Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology. Familiarity with telespeech service delivery. Knowledge of best practices in school-based SLP and healthcare environments. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is advantageous. Proven ability to effectively support students during ESY programs.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language therapy services during the ESY period from July 6, 2026, through August 6, 2026. Conduct telespeech sessions as needed to ensure continuous care. Develop individualized treatment plans targeting students' communication goals. Collaborate with educational staff and families to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Monitor student progress and update documentation accordingly. Adhere to state and federal guidelines governing speech-language interventions in schools.
