Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

School Speech-Language Pathologist in Lakewood Ranch, FL Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Lakewood Ranch, FL for the 2026-2027 school year. This role is an opportunity to support students in developing essential communication, language, and academic skills within a collaborative educational setting. We are looking for a compassionate professional who is committed to helping students succeed and who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement individualized speech-language treatment plans Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and related service providers Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and compliance records Support students with articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active Florida SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and educational teams
