Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services in educational settings near Palm City, FL. We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to support K-8 and high school students during maternity leave coverage throughout the 2026 school year. This is a full-time, on-site commitment at either Palm Pointe K-8 (October 5th to December 18th) or Ft. Pierce Central High School (September through October 20th), with each position focused exclusively on a single campus. Youll work closely with a collaborative team including fellow SLPs and SLPAs and serve diverse student populationsPalm Pointe offers a K-8 caseload, including multiple ASD units, while Ft. Pierce Central features a high school caseload with support from an SLPA two days per week.
Key Qualifications:
Current and active Florida SLP licensure (CCC required) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred Ability to successfully complete district credentialing, including fingerprinting (prior AHCA Clearinghouse prints may expedite process) Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student growth Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with district requirements
