Specifically, we are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to our patients in the afternoon or evening hours in a part-time capacity. This position has the ability to grow to a full-time position if desired. Compensation is based upon experience and added compensation is negotiable for therapy provided in the evening hours. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults by providing expert speech and language therapy services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping pediatric patients overcome communication challenges, working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, including early intervention evaluations. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on improving communication skills across various disorders. Deliver engaging therapy sessions via in-person or telehealth platforms, utilizing evidence-based techniques to facilitate progress. Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care strategies and progress tracking. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches as needed to optimize outcomes. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR), ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and confidentiality protocols. Educate families and caregivers on speech-language development milestones, home exercises, and strategies to support ongoing improvement outside of therapy sessions. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist with certification the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Proven experience working with children in pediatrics, early intervention programs, or school settings; experience with adults or geriatric populations is a plus. Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to communication disorders. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop effective therapy plans. Experience working with individuals with speech impairments, disabilities, or complex communication needs across diverse populations. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience delivering remote services effectively. Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and adapt therapy techniques for different age groups and settings. Excellent communication skills for parent collaboration, team coordination, and patient engagement.
