School Speech Language Pathologist - Parrish, FL

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity designed for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists dedicated to making a difference in K-12 settings. Full-time positions are available covering Buffalo Creek Middle School and Prine Elementary, two dynamic campuses offering diverse caseloads and collaborative teams. Buffalo Creek Middle School, located in Parrish, offers a four-day work schedule and features two low cognitive units and one behavioral unit. The caseload consists of approximately 50 students receiving direct services, with an additional 10 on consults. Experience fresh leadership under a new principal, fostering a supportive environment. Prine Elementary, situated in West Bradenton, provides a unique chance to partner with an experienced SLP and a skilled SLPA. The site serves a richly varied caseload of about 95 students at the start, reaching children in intensive PK, ASD, integrated PK, ESE PK, and low cognitive classrooms. Qualifications:
Current FL SLP License (Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year) Experience in schools and/or working with K-12 students preferred Familiarity with low cognitive and behavioral populations, and early childhood/preschool ages Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy for assigned caseloads Develop and implement IEP goals and interventions tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and fellow therapists Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
