a vibrant middle school and a collaborative elementary environment. At Buffalo Creek, your primary focus will be providing therapy to a caseload of about 50 students, with an additional 10 students receiving consultative services. Youll support both low cognitive and behavioral units, contributing to a positive learning environment under the guidance of a forward-thinking principal. At Prine Elementary, youll join an established team with another experienced SLP and a dedicated part-time SLPA. There, you'll have the chance to work with various specialized classes, including intensive preschool, ASD, and integrated programs, helping to serve approximately 95 students between all therapists.
Qualifications/Experience:
Hold a valid FL Speech-Language Pathologist license Prior experience in school-based settings preferred Ability to manage and prioritize diverse caseloads Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering student success in both individual and group settings
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services Evaluate, assess, and document students progress Collaborate with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines Support inclusion and access for students with a range of abilities and needs Enjoy a structured schedule of 35 hours per week in supportive schools with passionate teams.
