e2247-50023 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing essential support to a pediatric caseload in an educational setting. This full-time, on-site position welcomes experienced travelers ready to make a difference working near Ankeny, IA. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team while delivering assessments, implementing therapy, and monitoring student progress to facilitate improved communication and learning outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure required
ASHA Certification:
Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Background in pediatric and school-based settings preferred Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Flexible and collaborative approach to serving a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students in accordance with IEPs Deliver direct intervention for various speech and language disorders Work closely with teachers, families, and staff to support student success Maintain thorough records and prepare progress reports and documentation Provide recommendations and consultative services to school personnel and families Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as required
