e2138-50266 Job Description Make a meaningful difference supporting childrens communication development in a dynamic school-based setting just outside West Des Moines, IA. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity designed for both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) professionals passionate about working with pediatric populations. Travel professionals are encouraged to apply and contribute to an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required) Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) State licensure for SLP (or willingness to obtain before start) Strong foundational knowledge in pediatric speech and language disorders Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents for the best student outcomes Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and assessments in accordance with regulatory requirements Foster an engaging and supportive therapy environment that encourages growth and confidence
